I’m a HUUUGE fan of Jim Henson, but what I loved most about him, he balanced the child (Sesame Street) with the Adult (Muppets) and mixed them both darkly, deliciously (Labyrinth and Dark Crystal). Here’s an example of Jim exploring banal sounds in 1965:
